McKinley Summer 2019 Update

Welcome back to another beautiful school year! The Bond Team has been busy all summer, bringing the Measure T Bond Measure to life. From construction to design progress, the Bond Program is well on its way to transform and modernize the Redwood City School District.

 

This summer, the district was full of construction:

  • 30 interim housing units were installed for use at the start of the 2019/20 school year
  • Eleven schools had active construction on their campus
  • Five school Modernization projects mobilized
  • Four solar projects mobilized
  • Four Electric Vehicle Charging projects mobilized

 

McKinley Institute of Technology Modernization saw the following progress:

  • Drinking fountain installation completed
  • Electrical upgrades completed
  • ADA ramps installed
  • Door hardware upgrades began
  • Fencing and gate installation began
  • ADA stair handrail installation began
