Two District Leaders Named: Chief Business Officer and Director of Special Education
Redwood City School District (RCSD) Superintendent Dr. John Baker has appointed two District leaders in the roles of Chief Business Officer and Director of Special Education. Rick Edson, currently the Deputy Superintendent and Chief Business Official with Santa Rosa City Schools, has been named Chief Business Officer while Dr. Maeve Mulholland, Director of Special Education Services with Roseland School District, will serve as Director of Special Education. The Cabinet level leaders will join RCSD as of the 2022-23 school year.

In addition, Dr. Mulholland holds credentials in both education specialist instruction and administrative services. She fills the vacancy created due to the upcoming retirement of current Director of Special Education Dr. Patricia Pelino.
Both Mr. Edson’s and Dr. Mulholland’s appointments are effective July 1.
