District Leaders for 2022-23: Director of Technology and Director of Health and Wellness
This new school year, a veteran Redwood City School District (RCSD) employee will lead the organization’s Department of Technology while the District’s Director of Health and Wellness returns in 2022-23 for her first full school year with RCSD.
Carlos Reyna, an employee with RCSD for close to two decades, has been named Director of Technology and Patrinia Redd, who joined the District mid-year in 2021-22, will continue in her role in the new year.

In addition to his work with RCSD in the area of technology, Mr. Reyna has private sector experience in the architecture and advertising industries.
Associate’s degree in Architectural Drawing and Design--Metropolitan Institute (Lima, Peru).
Mr. Reyna transitions to his new role as current Director of Technology and Innovation Kyle Brumbaugh accepts a similar role with a school district in the South Bay. His appointment is effective July 1.

In addition to her experience in school districts, Ms. Redd dedicated several years as a social worker with the Kern County Department of Human Services.

Ms. Redd also holds credentials in pupil personnel services as well as administrative services. She joined RCSD in late 2021 due to the retirement of former Director of Health and Wellness Andrea Garen.
