January 2026 Districtwide Modernization and Construction Update

At the June 11, 2025 Board Meeting, the Redwood City School District Board of Trustees approved the final draft of the Facilities Master Plan (FMP). This plan is the result of a year-long effort by the Facilities Master Planning Committee, which has been working closely with the District and community to create a long-term vision for updating and improving our schools.

Now that the plan has been approved, the next step is to put it into action. The Bond Program Team has been preparing a list of proposed projects and an Implementation Plan, which was shared at a Board Workshop in October 2025.

The Bond Program Team is currently collecting additional information as requested by the Board and will revisit project options with the Board in Winter 2026. This plan will help guide how and when school improvements move forward in the coming years.
