2024-25 School Year Enrollment

To complete your student’s online application, you will need to upload the following: 

• Student's birth certificate or passport
   
• Updated Immunization records:
  • The following doses are required for PreK and TK (18 months through 5 years of age) enrollment:
    • At the time of applying: 4 doses of DTaP, 3 Polio, 3 Hep B, and 1 Varicella
       
    • Before their first day of school: 5 doses of DTaP, 4 Polio, 3 Hep B, 2 MMR, and 2 varicella. Families can bring their updated records to whichever of the following locations is most convenient to the family:
      • Their school office;
      • The RCSD WellBeing Center, which is located on the MIT campus. While the address for MIT is 400 Duane St., the WellBeing Center is located on the intersection of Duane and Jame streets. This is behind the MIT library and directly across the street from the Sequoia Union High School District; OR
      • The District Office, which is located at 750 Bradford St. in Redwood City. 
         
• The following doses are required for K-6 grade enrollment:
  • 5 doses of DTaP, 4 Polio, 3 Hep B, 2 MMR, and 2 varicella
     

• One additional dose of DTaP is required for enrollment in 7th grade and higher. In addition, all middle school students new to RCSD should make sure their updated immunization records include the two required doses of varicella. 

All required doses must be clearly visible in the document uploaded to the application.

• Two (2) different and current documents showing proof of residence: utility bills, rental agreement, vehicle registration, etc.
   
• Photo ID for parent or guardian
   

• In addition, please note:

  • Health Exam by a physician is required for kindergarten or 90 days following entry into first grade.
  • Oral health assessment is required by kindergarten or first grader enrolling in public school for their first time.

Please note: Your application will be completed once all documents have been uploaded and received by RCSD. Once all valid documents have been turned in, RCSD will then process registration for placement.
