Meet Our Director
Dr. Maeve Mulholland, Ed.D. | Director of Special Education
Dr. Maeve Mulholland serves as the dedicated Director of Special Education for RCSD, bringing a wealth of expertise and passion to the district’s commitment to inclusive and effective education.
In her role, Dr. Mulholland leads the district’s Department of Special Education Services, overseeing and guiding the provision of specialized educational support to ensure every student receives the tailored assistance they need.
With a robust professional background in public school system administration, Dr. Mulholland’s experience spans a spectrum of critical areas including special education, Section 504, student services, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Her commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment is evident in her comprehensive approach to addressing the diverse needs of students.
Her dedication to excellence and innovation in education was recognized in 2022 when she was honored with both the Sonoma State University School of Education’s "Circle of Excellence" award and the Sonoma SELPA Spirit of Education Award.
