Technology to Disinfect a Frog at MIT

Students in Redwood City School District’s (RCSD) Technology Literacy program have the college campus experience as they each receive their own device to take home and work remotely.

The program offers a small traditional middle school experience with opportunities for students to gain hands-on technology instruction.

In addition to the core subject areas such as accelerated mathematics, students benefit by being able to choose from an array of engaging electives such as virtual reality, robotics, comics creation, gaming, 3D design, school broadcast news, music, and much more.

The program at McKinley Institute of Technology offers Grades 6-8. To attend MIT, families first enroll at their neighborhood school and fill out a Schools of Choice application for MIT.
