SPECIAL BOARD MEETING VIA TELECONFERENCE

1.         Call to Order  

 

President MacAvoy called the special board meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom Teleconference Meeting. 

 

Present at the Special Board Meeting: President Alisa MacAvoy; Trustees Cecilia I. Márquez, Janet Lawson and Mike Wells; and Superintendent Baker. 

 

Vice-President Díaz-Slocum was absent.

President MacAvoy welcomed those present.  The School Board dispensed with the Pledge of Allegiance.    

 

Others Present During the Special Board Meeting:  Liz Wolfe, Kyle Brumbaugh, and Eliana García.

No changes were made to the agenda. 

 

4.         Approval of Agenda

 

The board approved the agenda as submitted, (Wells, Lawson; 4-0).

6.         Action Items

 

6.1  Recommendation re:  Approval of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Police Activities League (PAL) to Provide After School Elective Program for Students at Garfield, Taft and Hoover

 

The School Board approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Police Activities League (PAL) to provide after school elective program for students at Garfield, Taft and Hoover (Márquez/Wells; 4-0).
