In addition to learning science and polishing up their writing skills, the trip also teaches students skills that they can apply to their future careers such as determination, responsibility, leadership, communication, compassion, and friendship.
RCSD is making this improvement to its enrollment process in an effort to improve the experience for its families.
RCSD currently has two open seats; one for the Measure T Citizens Oversight Committee and the other for the Measure U Citizens Oversight Committee.
The facilities became vacant after the Board of Trustees voted to merge and move programs and consolidate schools as part of a community engagement program after a loss of 2,000 students in six years as families move out of the Bay Area due to the high cost of living and three charter schools that operate within the RCSD attendance zone.
John F. Kennedy Middle School is committed to providing equal access to high-quality education for all students grades 6-8.
