Nichole Crawford
  • It is with great pride and excitement that I am again appointed Vice-Principal of Henry Ford Elementary School this year. Along with the excitement of another year, I am honored to be a part of the Henry Ford School community and I realize the great responsibility that I have to inspire, empower, and influence our youth, as well as the opportunity to positively impact the families, staff, and communities in support of our students. I strongly believe that students grow and achieve more when they are challenged and surrounded by involved and compassionate adults, both within and outside the walls of a school.

I bring to Henry Ford many years of experience as an educator. I have served in positions ranging from second grade through fifth as a classroom teacher.  When time allowed I also held site positions as Testing Coordinator, Technology Curriculum Integration Representative, Stanford EL Design Thinking Project participant, PBIS Network Site Lead, and NGSS training and site representative and many other leadership opportunities. No matter the role within education, I always return to my core values including the idea that education is a social right-- not a privilege. It is with the above mentioned that I go forward to make a positive impact towards equity and excellence in our schools so our students will make their own positive and lasting impact in our world.

When I am not at Henry Ford School you can usually find me with my family.  I have been living in the Bay area for 21 years!   My husband, Colin, and I love to have adventures with our two children all around the Bay Area.  My daughter Ashlyn is in 7th grade and my son Rhys is in 5th in a neighboring district.  We love to travel, hike, bike, and generally stay active around town.  I love to read and enjoy a meal with my friends and family.

I look forward to working with the students, staff, and community at Henry Ford Elementary School again this school year!
