Hi!! I am so excited to be your fourth-grade teacher!
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Boomer Sooner!! This will be my third year to teach fourth grade, but my first year to teach in California. Before teaching fourth grade, I have taught second, third, fifth grade science, and special education. In addition to my experience in the classroom, I have worked as a summer program educator at the Tulsa Zoo and as a Robotics (Botball) coach in my last school district. I hope to one day bring Botball/Robotics here. I am very honored to be at Clifford as I have heard so many wonderful things about this school and this school district! Go Dolphins!
A bit about my personal life- I am married; I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful 1 year old son. We also have three furry children; we have two cats and a dog. Last year we moved from Oklahoma to the Bay Area. I love coffee and video games. When I am not teaching you can find me with my family or working out. Some of my hobbies include: playing the violin, traveling, coding, running, hiking, and playing fetch with my dog. Beyond that, I'm a passionate, motivated, and loving teacher, here for all of you during these tough times. I can't wait to get to know every one of my students. This will be a great year!
