Kindergarten, Kao Laoshi 高老师
Hello! My name is Rueilian Kao. I was born and grew up in Taiwan. After completing a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in Taiwan, I came to the United States to pursue my master's degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have been teaching in a Mandarin Immersion program for the past 11 years. I began my teaching career in the Minnetonka School District in Minnesota for two years then I moved to California.
I am honored to be a kindergarten teacher in room 3. I hope your child enjoys the school and is ready to embark on an important milestone in his/her life. Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically. I love this quote and I believe that the teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. I look forward to working with my students, watching them grow and flourish, and become passionate learners. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, playing badminton, and most importantly spending time with my family.
