• About Me:
I have been teaching full-time in the Clifford Kindergarten since 2000. Prior to that, I was a substitute teacher at Clifford. All three of my children attended Clifford.  When I was a parent here, I was the Parents' Club president and was on the Site Council. Outside of school, I love reading--the Public Library is one of the best resources our community has! I have known since I was sixteen that I wanted to teach Kindergarten--fueled by my own wonderful memories of my Kindergarten experience with Miss Elsie. I am so lucky to spend every day doing what I love with people who are amazing to work with!
    My Education
I am a graduate of the Redwood City School District (Lincoln & McKinley), Sequoia High School and the University of California, Santa Barbara (Sociology). I received my teaching credential from Notre Dame de Namur in 2001. I continue to take classes because for me learning never ends. The last three years I have been one of the teachers on the FOSS Leadership Team. Clifford was one of ten schools in the state to be part of a three year pilot program to develop Science leaders and to integrate Science and Language Arts. We have been able to increase the quality and quantity of Science being taught here at Clifford. This year our team received the J. Russell Kent Award for our efforts.
