I am excited to move to 5th grade this year!! Seeing some familiar faces in my classroom will be a treat!
I am a native of Redwood City and my family is one of the pioneering families of Redwood City having first arrived in 1887. My love for our community and it's history is deeply rooted. I'm also honored to be one of the 150 faces of Redwood City from the 150th anniversary in 2017. Aside from teaching your wonderful children, I also play the violin with the California Pops Orchestra. http://www.californiapops.org
We have concerts several times throughout the year. If you and your family are interested in attending a live performance of truly GREAT American music, please check us out! We play everything - Broadway, Hollywood, Big Band, Jazz, Swing, lite classics - you name it! I also enjoy reading, writing, traveling, nature and camping. Life is an adventure and I love every minute!
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Hayward (now CA State East Bay). Later, I returned to school to complete my Teaching Credential then my Masters in Education from Notre Dame de Namur University.
Both of my children are NSA graduates so I understand the ups and downs of raising children who are advanced students. The best part of teaching is working with my students! Hearing their stories, their achievements and their troubles enriches my life. I learn so much from them. I endeavor to do my part to help them on their way down the road of academia and life in general. Here's to a great year!
