Redwood City School District (RCSD) can help you become an educator in just one year! By participating in Teach RCSD, our own Teacher Residency Program, individuals with a bachelor’s degree can immediately start working with children with special needs while earning their teaching credential and a master’s degree in education.

RCSD has a partnership with the Alder Graduate School of Education to help you get started on your path as an RCSD special education teacher. You will be joining a supportive, mentor-based program with an emphasis on social justice and equity through the Alder Graduate School of Education in partnership with the San Mateo County Office of Education.
