• Parents as Partners in Children’s Education

Parents are encouraged to participate actively in their children's preschool programs to support learning and kindergarten readiness. Opportunities for involvement may include:

    • Sharing your time, interests, talents and resources in the children's classrooms
    • Attending Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings, Raising a Reader workshops, social events, celebrations and fundraising activities
    • Meeting with your children's teachers in parent-teacher conferences to discuss kindergarten readiness and program questions/concerns
    • Completing Virtual Pre-K Activities - take-home curricula complementing planned academic learning during the preschool day
