Each school in the Redwood City School District spends a significant amount of time developing a school-wide plan of action called a Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). This plan is intended to outline actions to raise the academic performance of all students to the level of performance goals established under the California Academic Performance Index (API).
Each plan includes a profile of the school, descriptions of the program, data on student performance, a description of instructional strategies, professional development and parent involvement opportunities. The plan also includes specific goals and actions to improve student achievement.
