All Redwood City School District (RCSD) students will continue to have the option of eating school meals for free, regardless of their family’s economic need. To make sure RCSD schools continue to receive the funding needed to support students’ education, the school district must collect household income information. New state laws approved in July allow parents to request from their school district the options of either retaining their child for a year or to participate in independent study to be offered synchronously.
