Redwood City School District Child Development Centers
The Redwood City School District provides state preschool services that promote healthy child development, support families and help prepare children for success in school and life. We offer part-day and full-day preschool programs for children 3 to 5 years of age. Our programs serve over 600 preschool children on eight elementary school campuses:

Features of our programs include:
Full-day classes are generally open from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and operate year-round to accommodate working parents.
Our 3-hour preschool classes have morning or afternoon schedules, and operate on a school calendar.
Many of our classrooms have bilingual staff and programming.
All children receive lunch and snacks through the USDA Child Care Food Program.
Children with disabilities or other special needs are integrated in our classrooms whenever possible.
As a public agency, we refrain from any type of religious instruction.
